(Missouri Football App) -- Vanderbilt coach James Franklin has the Tigers on his mind and he sees a big challenge on both sides of the ball.

Here is what Coach Franklin had to say during his weekly media briefing as posted by the Vanderbilt football web page.

"We need a home field advantage and I think that is going to be very important. They run an explosive, up-tempo offense, so being able to have a home field advantage and crowd noise will make it difficult for their offense to run. They are 4-0 right now. They aren't overly complicated on defense, but they play hard especially up front. I think the defensive line is the strength of their unit. Offensively they are averaging 500 yards per game and over 45 points, so that's going to be a challenge for our defense.

"It's going to be a heck of a challenge, but I know our kids and staff are excited about playing this game and being back in our stadium and having the opportunity to play aggressive again. I can't stress the importance of the students and the community for this game."

On Missouri's QB Franklin:

"He has had a heck of a career. If you look at what he has been able to do and how people talk about him, he's a very, very good football player."

On the defense stopping a running quarterback:

"I think that is going to be a focus for us this week. We have been preparing for it and this will be a nice test for us."

On entering league play again coming off two wins:

"I think that the fact that we have done some good things and played well last week is something that we are going to build on this week. Our focus is to be 1-0 this week and focus on Missouri. It is going to be a tremendous challenge for our offense, our defense and our special teams, and we couldn't be more excited."
