(Missouri Football App) -- The Mizzou basketball season opens on Monday with an exhibition game against Northwest Missouri State, but Head Coach Frank Haith has a problem on his hands.

Haith has suspended two of his players, senior Michael Dixon and freshman Dominique Bell.

Both have been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. Dixon averaged 15 1/2 points a game last year and was the Big 12 Conference 6th man of the year. He was preseason 2nd team All Southeastern Conference selection.

Haith says the length of the suspensions will depend on how the players handled this adversity.
