COLUMBIA, MO (KMOV.com) - Game time for the Tigers' season opener against Southern Illinois Edwardsville (SIUE) on Nov. 10 has been moved to 4:00 p.m.

Tip-off was originally scheduled for 12:00 p.m., but the start time was pushed back so Tigers fans can watch the Mizzou football team take on Tennessee at 11:21 a.m. and then attend the basketball game at Mizzou Arena.

"We appreciated our television partners and the coaching staff at Southern Illinois Edwardsville to be so accommodating with this time change," Head Coach Frank Haith said. "Mizzou Arena is the toughest home court in the country because of our students and fans. This move gives everyone a littler extra time to get to Mizzou Arena after watching the football game that morning."
