Mizzou basketball to play in Las Vegas tournament

(Missouri Basketball App) - The Tigers will be spending their Thanksgiving in Las Vegas.

The Missouri Athletic Department announced Tuesday the Tigers will be playing in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational in late November.

Frank Haith’s squad will actually open the tournament on their home floor. The Tigers will face Gardner-Webb on Nov. 23 and IUPUI on Nov. 25 before heading to Nevada.

Mizzou will then take on Northwestern in their first contest in Las Vegas.  The Tigers have not faced the Wildcats since 1968. The Tigers wrap up their trip to Sin City with a game against Nevada. Their schedule is below:

2013 Las Vegas Invitational Schedule (Times CST)

Nov. 28                         9:30 p.m.               Missouri vs. Northwestern (ESPNU)
