(HockeyStL) – St. Louis Blues goaltender Jaroslav Halak will get the start against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night.

Halak has been far from stellar on the road this season with a 0-5-1 record with a 3.35 goals against average and a .876 save percentage.

In his career against the Capitals, Halak is 3-3-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .901 save percentage.

Halak has been much sharper in November after posting a 1-5-0 record in October.  His goals against average is 1.94 better in the month of November.

The Blues’ other netminder, Brian Elliott, was recently named the NHL’s third Star of the Week.
