(HockeyStL) -- It was like old times at the Scottrade Center Thursday night when Al MacInnis and Chris Pronger stepped onto the ice together to honor Barret Jackman for becoming the Blues all-time leader in games played as a defenseman.
The pair played nine seasons together for the Blues before MacInnis retired in the 2003-04 season. Pronger would play for the Oilers the next season.
Pronger posted 698 points (157 goals, 541 assists) in 1,167 games played for the Whalers, Blues, Oilers, Ducks and Flyers. MacInnis posted 1,274 points (340 goals, 934 assists) in 1,416 games played in his 23-year career with the Flames and Blues.
