The Blues claimed defenseman Taylor Chorney off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.

Colaiacovo was injured in the second period of a loss Saturday against the Nashville Predators. He'll be eligible to return to the lineup Sunday at Anaheim.

The 24-year-old Chorney had four points in 12 games with Edmonton last season and 16 points in 46 games with Oklahoma City (AHL). He was Edmonton's second round pick in the 2005 Entry draft.
