(HockeyStL) -- Last season Patrik Berglund was one of only two Blues players to play in all 82 games. He managed to score 19 goals.
He has been a different player this season and as a result his numbers have followed suit.
The Swedish-born forward notched his fifth goal and seventh point with a go-ahead power play goal in the second period. He has done most of his damage in the last five games with six points (four goals, two assists).
Berglund was one of the many Blues who decided to play competitively during the lockout. He posted 31 points (20 goals, 11 assists) in 28 games for VIK Vasteras in Sweden.
He is tied with Vladimir Tarasenko for the team lead in goals with five.
Like Berglund, Tarasenko extended his point streak to five games with an assist on a goal scored by Matt D’Agostini in the first period. The Russian prospect has a team-leading ten points this season.
