(KMOV) – The East St. Louis Flyers football team won their first round playoff game Saturday after a judge ruled the team could play in the post-season after originally being kicked out for using an ineligible player.

However, the Flyers are not totally clear just yet.

The judge issued a temporary restraining order allowing the flyers to play Saturday afternoon. The order will give the school more time to defend the claims against them.

The Illinois High School Association could kick the Flyers out of the playoffs again next week, sources say. If this does happen, Belleville West will be back in the playoffs.
