KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Chiefs have signed seven players to reserve/future contracts, including running back Joe McKnight, a former fourth-round pick of the New York Jets. Also signed by the Chiefs yesterday were linebacker Jordan Campbell, cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke, defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton, offensive tackle R.J. Dill, defensive back Jerron McMillian and defensive end Brandon Moore.

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Earnest Ross hit four free throws down the stretch and Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points to lead Number 21 Missouri to a 70-68 victory at Auburn yesterday. Ross, who spent two seasons at Auburn before transferring in 2011, scored 16 points for Missouri. Jabari Brown added 15 points for Missouri in Alabama.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points, fellow freshman Wayne Selden added 20 and Number 18 Kansas beat 25th-ranked Kansas State 86-60 yesterday in its latest Sunflower Showdown beat down. Another of the Jayhawks' ballyhooed freshmen, Joel Embiid, contributed 11 points and nine rebounds, and Perry Ellis scored 12 in their sixth straight win over their I-70 rivals.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Cleanthony Early had 22 points and 14 rebounds and the Number 6 Wichita State rallied from a 19-point second-half deficit, knocking off Missouri State 72-69 in overtime Saturday night. Fred VanVleet scored 12 of the Shockers' last 13 points, including a game-tying free throw with 8 seconds left in regulation.
