CHICAGO (AP) — The Atlanta Braves purchased the contract of right-handed reliever Kameron Loe from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.
Loe will be available for Sunday's game against the White Sox. He signed a minor league contract with the Braves on May 11. He was 4-2 with a 3.19 ERA in four starts and 17 relief appearances for Gwinnett. He started the season with the Mariners and was claimed off waivers by the Cubs in April and was designated for assignment on May 6. He allowed 13 runs in 15 innings while pitching for the Mariners and the Cubs this season with a 1-1 record.
To make room for Loe, the Braves optioned infielder Tyler Pastornicky to Gwinnett. He hit .292 with three home runs and 12 RBIs for the Braves in 18 games.
