(FootballStL) -- I don't know how serious the Sam Bradford injury is. No word here from the team at the moment. Obviously, the season just took a disastrous turn for the worse if Bradford is out for an extended period of time. He is leaving Charlotte on crutches.

We're leaving Charlotte believing the Panthers were very beatable today. But until the Rams make the catches that should be made, until they play with more discipline they'll lose games like this one.

The pick-six on the first play was a wretched way to start but the game was hanging in the balance after an 80 yard touchdown drive made it an eight point game in third quarter. But the defense couldn't stop the Panthers on the next drive and that finished off the Rams. A holding penalty in the secondary extended that drive.

Cornerback continues to be the weak link on the Rams defense after it proved to be a strength in 2012. Through seven games the season is a disappointment. And 6-1 Seattle is next.
