ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) – Snoop Lion, also known as Snoop Dogg, wants the city of Los Angeles to have an NFL football team again.

Snoop Dogg, who was promoting EA Sports FIFA13 on ESPN’s SportsCenter Tuesday morning, says he thinks Los Angeles deserves its own “fresh” NFL team and doesn’t want his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders, to move.

“Oakland is the Raiders home, their true home,” Snoop told ESPN’s Kevin Negandhi.  “We (Los Angeles) need our own team.  Something we can call ‘ours’ and ours like USC because right now (USC) is our only NFL professional team.”

He was obviously joking about the University of Southern California being the city’s NFL team, but many Rams fans may like his thinking.  Why?  The Rams would not qualify as a “fresh” team.

The Rams, like the Raiders, have been a couple teams rumored to be on the move and will always have ties to Los Angeles, but it does not sound like Snoop wants any current NFL team to move there.
