ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- Gregg Williams was brought to St. Louis this offseason to revamp the Rams defense which ranked near the bottom in most of the defensive categories in 2011. Instead, Williams was suspended indefinitely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for his involvement in the Saints bounty scandal.
At his annual golf tournament in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Williams told ESPN.com’s Elizabeth Merrill that he will coach again.
Williams refused to speak about the bounty scandal and focused on the golf tournament which was “all about the kids.”
The former Saints coordinator has since issued an apology for his involvement in the scandal.
