(KMOV) – The St. Louis Rams front office staff departed early this morning en-route to Joplin, Missouri to continue the clean-up efforts from the tornado damage in May.

The St. Louis staff is teaming up with the United Way of Greater St. Louis and AmeriCorps St. Louis to clean up debris, organize donations, unload trucks, and staff the call centers.

This is part of the Rams’ Staff Day of Service where once a month the staff assists with a community project.

The Rams organization had previously donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army to aid the relief efforts from tornados that hit Joplin and St. Louis.  The Rams staff had also helped clean debris in Ferguson, Missouri that was left from the Good Friday tornado.
