A loss is a loss. There is no other way to sugarcoat it, especially in the NFL. But today was a loss that was finally something that I think a lot of Rams fans have been looking for. Today was a definite sign of progress and not in the way that some coaches and sportswriters in this city have talked about this season. Progress is when you go from being a team that walks out on Sunday and has no chance to win to becoming a team that goes out against one of the best teams in the league and gives them everything they can handle for 60 minutes. It is something I think most fans were looking for at the beginning of the season, but now in week 10 we are finally witnessing it. A team that is going to be competitive week in and week out.
