PHOENIX (FootballStL) -- The St. Louis Rams defense did what it was suppose to do on Sunday: make Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley look like a rookie quarterback.
The Rams intercepted four of Lindley’s passes, including two pick-sixes from Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins, in a 31-17 victory on Sunday.
It wasn’t all pretty for the Rams defense.
Lindley led the Cardinals on a 91-yard drive which resulted in a touchdown on the team’s first possession. The San Diego State product was 7-for-8 for 80 yards on the drive which was also the team’s longest this season.
It was his first career start as an NFL quarterback.
