ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- Rams head coach Jeff Fisher announced Monday that defensive tackle Michael Brockers is nearing a return after a ‘good’ workout prior to the 23-6 loss to the Bears on Sunday.

“We do have a chance to get Michael Brockers on the practice field,” Fisher said.  “It would be great to get him back.”

Brockers has not played in the first three regular season games due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in the preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Rams made Brockers the No. 14 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
