- The first thing that jumped out on the first day of camp was the Rams team speed on offense  Rookie receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey caught long, back to back touchdowns from Sam Bradford, which drew huge cheers from the crowd.

Sam Bradford on the new team speed: "We're so much further ahead than we were a year ago. There's no question this offense has a differnt feel."

- Second-year running back Daryl Richardson was the first back to take reps from the Rams backfield.

- Zac Stacy, the rookie running back from Vanderbilt, showed some burst when running between the tackles.

- Rookie safety T.J McDonald got plenty of work on Day 1. McDonald brings good size to the defensive backfield at 6'2, 219 pounds.
