BUFFALO (FootballStL) -- His numbers weren’t impressive and his decision-making continues to be questioned, but for one drive Sam Bradford silenced the critics as he led the Rams to a game-winning touchdown over the Bills late in the fourth quarter.
The drive consisted of 14 plays in four minutes and 17 seconds of play with the Rams trailing 12-7 late in the fourth quarter. Bradford completed the drive 6-for-11 passing for 68 yards. He also completed two third down attempts and one fourth down attempt before connecting with Brandon Gibson for a 13-yard touchdown with 48 seconds left in the game.
Bradford would convert the two-point conversion on a pass to Chris Givens to take the lead 15-12.
At times, Bradford’s errant throws were bailed out by tremendous grabs from his wide receivers while his receivers also dropped a few sure catches, but the most impressive part in recent weeks is his ability to bounce back from mediocre play.
He finished the game 19-for-39 passing for 209 yards with a touchdown and interception.
