ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) – Rams defensive tackle Michael Brockers returned to the practice field on Wednesday after sitting out the first three weeks of the season with a high-ankle sprain suffered in the final preseason game.
Head coach Jeff Fisher told reporters that Brockers was limited in his first practice back and will wait until later this week before deciding if he will make his NFL debut this Sunday against the Seahawks.
“I’m real anxious to get this thing started and help the defense out,” Brockers told the Associated Press. “I feel like this high ankle sprain has some more weeks to go, but I feel like I’m able to hold off players and be able to make some plays. I feel pretty good.”
Brockers was selected No. 14 overall in April’s NFL Draft out of LSU.
