ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- One week ago, Brandon Gibson was not targeted on a single pass in a 16-13 win over the San Francisco 49ers.  But he found himself as one of the main targets, including the game-winning grab, in a 15-12 victory at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Gibson finished the game with six catches for 100 yards and was targeted nine times.  It was a far cry from the previous week which left nothing but goose eggs on his stat sheet.

“That’s just how things go,” Gibson said.  “You know certain reads take the ball away from certain positions and the defense tends to dictate what happens, but you just got to stay with the game.  Nothing you can do about it, just make plays when your number is called.”

Gibson scored the game-winning touchdown with 48 seconds left on a 13-yard pass from Sam Bradford to jump ahead 13-12 at the time.  The Rams would convert on the two-point conversion.

Sunday marked the first 100-yard receiving game of Gibson’s career which has spanned over four years.

Gibson leads the team in touchdowns with five this season.  He has caught 40 passes for 537 yards in 2012.
