MIAMI (FootballStL) -- The Dolphins top-ranked rushing defense was all of the talk heading into Sunday’s game against the Rams.

The Rams were able to breakthrough against the tough defense by rushing for more yards in the first quarter, 70 yards, than the Dolphins defense allows in a game, 64.1 yards allowed on average.

At the half, the Rams rushed for 137 yards and allowed only three yards rushing to the Dolphins.

The Rams finished the game with 162 yards on the ground.
