(FootballSTL) -- After the Rams were pounded by the San Francisco 49ers for their third loss in a row, head coach Jeff Fisher said the Rams would treat Sunday’s game against Jacksonville as it was their opening game of the season.

“Yeah, those first four were just preseason games”, joked quarterback Sam Bradford. “I think we’ve played eight preseason games. Any time you win a season opener, there’s some things that you do well and some things that you need to improve. We’ll go in and look at the film and try to get ready for Houston next.”

The Rams climbed back to 2-3 on the season, and Fisher seemed relieved with Sunday’s result after blowout losses to Dallas and San Francisco.

“It seems like a long ten days, but it was a good win for us, “said Fisher. “As we’ve been talking about during the past week, there were things that we set out to do, things we needed to do differently. Fortunately, we were able to put those things in motion a bit.”

One of those things was improving the Rams run attack, which has struggled all season. Against the Jaguars, the Rams rushed for 143 yards, 78 by rookie back Zac Stacy. “Its definitely a confidence booster to the run game. But all around, whatever play is called we want to execute it to the fullest.”
