ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- There is rarely a lot of good things to take away from a 27-13 defeat at home against a mediocre team in the midst of turmoil, but don’t tell Jeff Fisher that.
“A lot of good things,” Fisher said. “When you look at from a standpoint of special teams, we go out and we block a field goal, we get a fourth down stop on a fake punt, we get the ball in the end zone, however, it was called back. So, good things there.”
How would you rate Sam Bradford's pro career to this point? Share your thoughts.
“I thought both Chris (Givens) and Janoris (Jenkins) came back after a tough weekend and came back and made some plays for us and got back in the swing of things.”
The Rams have a lot to fix before the team gets set to play the Cardinals this Sunday, but Fisher is right. There were those key things that went well for the team despite the ugly score.
Now if only the team can correct Bradford and a porous defensive effort against an average quarterback then there might be another ‘W’ in the Rams win column soon.
