ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) – Three big playmakers sat out of Wednesday’s practice for the St. Louis Rams and Chicago Bears: running back Steven Jackson, running back Matt Forte and defensive end Julius Peppers.
As Rams fans know, Jackson left Sunday’s game in the first half with a strained groin. He did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, but head coach Jeff Fisher says he is “day-to-day.”
Forte and his sprained ankle are “making progress,” according toBears head coach Lovie Smith. There is no word when he could return to action. Peppers also sat out on Wednesday and is expected to return to practice on Thursday. He has been sidelined by a foot injury.
