Rams linebacker unbeaten vs. Michigan

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams rookie linebacker James Laurinaitis has never lost to a Michigan team -- an unblemished record that will be put to the test on Sunday.

The 0-7 Rams are slight underdogs against the 1-5 Detroit Lions, who are coming off their bye week.

Laurinaitis has been a starter since the opener after the Rams took him in the second round of the draft out of Ohio State.

The Buckeyes never lost to Michigan or Michigan State during his college career. Laurinaitis is proud of that record and says he's not expecting a lot of supporters at Ford Field in Detroit.
