COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The shock of losing at home to Baylor, and the frustration of losing four of the last five games, is weighing on Missouri coach Gary Pinkel.

The Tigers dropped to 5-4 overall and a disappointing 1-4 in the Big 12 with Saturday's stunning 40-32 home loss to Baylor. Pinkel knows fans have higher expectations than what they're seeing.

Now, Pinkel and the Tigers are hoping to turn things around for the final three regular season games, starting with Saturday's game at Kansas State.

As surprising as Missouri has been on the down side, the Wildcats have been one of the success stories of the Big 12 in Bill Snyder's return as coach. Kansas State, at 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the league, is in the hunt for the Big 12 North championship.
