No. 17 seed Sloane Stephens also moved into Round 4, as did 11th seed Robert Vinci, Laura Robson and Monica Puig (pweeg). Robson is the first British woman in 15 years to reach the fourth round.

SILVERSTONE, England (AP) — Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has clinched the pole position on his final lap at the British Grand Prix, ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg and three-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel. Hamilton won his 28th pole with a lap time of 1:29.607, just moments after the 28-year-old Rosberg had clocked the fastest time.
