(AP) — Will Spradling had 17 points and five assists, including one that set up Shane Southwell's 3-pointer in the closing minutes, and Kansas State beat 8th ranked Florida 67-61 last night. Rodney McGruder added 13 points and Jordan Henriquez had nine points and five blocks for the Wildcats, who watched a 10-point halftime lead evaporate before pulling away in the final minutes.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Redshirt freshman Ben McLemore scored 22 points and 9th ranked Kansas proved it was more than just a bully at home by beating seventh-ranked Ohio State 74-66 in Columbus. The Jayhawks beta the Buckeyes in a 64-62 thriller in last year's NCAA semifinals. Jeff Withey added 14 points and 10 rebounds for KU yesterday in Columbus.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Laurence Bowers had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead Number 12 Missouri over 10th ranked Illinois 82-73 in the annual Braggin' Rights game yesterday. Alex Oriakhi added 13 points and 14 rebounds as the Tigers won their fourth straight in the 32-year-old series. Brandon Paul led the Illini with 23 points in St. Louis.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Tyler Stone scored 28 points, including two free throws with 28 seconds left that gave UMKC a 66-65 victory over Southeast Missouri State yesterday. Nate Rogers had 14 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Kangaroos. UMKC's Fred Chatmon had 11 points and 13 rebounds in Kansas City, Missouri.
