DETROIT (AP) — The 9-1 Houston Texans put their four-game winning streak on the line when they play the Detroit Lions in the traditional NFL Thanksgiving Day game in the Motor City. The Lions have lost nine of their last 10 Thanksgiving Day games and last won on Turkey Day in 2003.

UNDATED (AP) — Houston-Detroit is just one of three NFL games on the Thanksgiving Day menu. Robert Griffin III leads the 4-6 Washington Redskins into Texas to play the 5-5 Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East matchup. And tonight, the 7-3 New England Patriots, coming off a 59-point performance against Indianapolis, test Rex Ryan's defense when they play the New York Jets in the Meadowlands.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Kevin Durant scored 35 points, Russell Westbrook added 23 and Oklahoma City's All-Star tandem scored all 15 of the Thunder's points in overtime in a 117-111 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers last night. That snapped the Clippers' six-game winning streak.

MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James and Dwyane (dwayn) each scored 28 points and the Miami Heat scored the first six points of overtime on the way to beating the Milwaukee Bucks 113-106 last night. Chris Bosh scored 24 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, his most in a Heat uniform.

NEW YORK (AP) — If you're an NHL fan, there's not a whole lot to be thankful for today, the 68th day of the NHL lockout. Both sides met briefly yesterday, made no progress on the major issues and NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said both sides are "far apart."
