CHICAGO (AP) — A spokesman for the Cincinnati Reds says manager Dusty Baker left Wrigley Field in street clothes more than two hours before Wednesday night's game to get chest X-rays to "rule out pneumonia."

Bench coach Chris Speier brought the lineup card to home plate and TV cameras showed Speier in the dugout during the game against the Chicago Cubs, but there was no sign of Baker.

Cincinnati leads the NL Central by 11 games over the St. Louis Cardinals and can clinch the division as early as Thursday with a pair of wins and Cardinals losses.
