ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – Any signs of postseason baseball were taken down at Busch Stadium following the team’s 9-0 loss to the Giants in Game 7.

The postseason banners on the outfield wall and inside the dugouts will be packed away from Busch Stadium for at least another year; hopefully no longer than that.

The weather fit the mood around Busch Stadium early Tuesday when the signs were being removed: it was gloomy, it was sad.

Busch Stadium will have to sit idle until April…baseball in St. Louis can’t come back soon enough.
