(BaseballStL) - Two teams in two very different positions will square off in Colorado over the next 4 days. The Cardinals roll into Coors Field tied with the Pittsburgh Pirates atop the N.L. Central, while the last place Rockies finish off their final homestand of the season.

The Cardinals 12-2 win over the Seattle Mariners on Sunday was their 7th win in 9 games. Meanwhile, 17 year veteran first baseman Todd Helton will play in his final homestand in Colorado, after announcing he will retire at the end of the season.

Lance Lynn will start the series opener for the Redbirds, as he looks for his first win in 8 starts. However, Lynn was solid in his last outing, Wednesday against Milwaukee. Lynn held the Brewers to just an unearned run off 5 hits over 6 innings. Lynn also struck out 10 batters a received a no-decision.
