(BaseballStL) – Crews spent the day Friday loading up the trucks over at Busch Stadium and getting ready to make the trip to Jupiter, Florida for spring training.

Crates and boxes of supplies, uniforms, cleats, bats and just about everything you can imagine were pushed, pulled and lifted into the moving trucks.

Pitchers and catchers are set to report on Saturday, February 18th with the first work outs on the 19th. The full squad reports on the 23rd with full work outs the next day.

This will be the first spring training to be run by new Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, and the first spring training in a decade without #5.

The Cards first spring training game is March 5th against Miami in Jupiter. The Cards and Marlins will meet for their regular season opener Wednesday, April 4th in Miami.

After a road trip that takes them to Milwaukee and Cincinnati, the Cards will host the Cubs on April 13th for their home opener.
