(BaseballStL) -- Hall of Famer Lou Brock is being honored with the Jackie Robinson Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Cardinals great was presented the award Monday morning in Kansas City by Bob Kendrick, the president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

The base-stealing legend Brock remains active in the St. Louis community.  Brock is a member of the 3,000 hit club, held a base stealing record that stood for years and led the Cardinals to the World Series in 1964, 1967 and 1968.
