MIAMI (BaseballStL) – Yadier Molina will be sitting out Wednesday’s series finale in Miami.
Molina will get an extra day of rest on Wednesday as the team has an off day ahead of a three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates which begins on Friday at Busch Stadium. He has four-game hitting streak including home runs in each of his last three games.
Tony Cruz will get the start and bat eighth on Wednesday.
