(BaseballStL) -- Despite having a injured ribs, Dodger shortstop Hanley Ramirez will be in the lineup Monday against St. Louis.
After being hit by a pitch from Joe Kelly in Game 1 Friday, Ramirez did not record a hit the rest of the game. He was a scratch for Game 2 and there was much speculation around his appearance in Monday night's contest.
Ramirez will bat third ahead of Adrian Gonzalez.
Andre Ethier will also be in the lineup against Cardinal ace Adam Wainwright. After not starting in Game 2, Ethier's status was in question after it was said he was dealing with shin splints.
Ethier hadn't started a game since mid-September until he started Game 1 of the NLCS.
He will bat fifth behind Gonzalez. Yasiel Puig will bat sixth.
