(BaseballStL) -- Yadier Molina was taken out of a 6-2 game in the fifth inning against the Reds due to soreness in his left wrist on Monday.

Molina, who landed on the disable list because of knee soreness last month, was replaced by Rob Johnson.

After going 0-for-2 on Monday, Molina has only two hits in his last four starts (14 at-bats). His average has dipped from .333 to .327 during the stretch.

The All-Star catcher has 10 home runs and 61 RBI in 113 games this season.
