(BaseballStL) – Cardinals pitcher Kyle Lohse is out of the game after pitching a solid five and two-thirds innings.

In Game 3 of the NLCS Lohse gave up seven hits and one run before handing the ball to reliever Trevor Rosenthal.

Lohse got the hook in the sixth after Giants pitcher Matt Cain hit a single down the line to put two on with two out.

Rosenthal got the third out on a fielder’s choice to the short stop.
