(BaseballStL) -- St. Louis Cardinals third baseman David Freese will never forget the bottom of the 9th inning and he will especially not forget the 11th inning of Game 6.

Down to the final strike with two outs and his team trailing 7-5, Freese smacked an opposite field triple off of Texas Rangers closer Neftali Feliz to score Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman and tie the game in the bottom of the 9th.

But he wasn't quite done yet after smashing a solo walkoff home run in the 11th inning to send the series to a Game 7.

Earlier in the game, Freese had committed an error which would result in an extra being scored in the 5th inning.
