ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday left Tuesday’s game in the seventh inning after walking to start the inning.

Holliday appeared to pull up while running to first base.  Recent call-up Adron Chambers entered the game as a pinch runner.

According to team officials, Holliday left the game because of lower back tightness.  His status is day-to-day.
