(BaseballStL) -- St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday left Game 6 in the bottom of the 6th inning after being picked off at third base with the bases loaded and one out.

Holliday injured his pinky finger on his right hand trying to dive back to the base, but appeared to get jammed as Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre blocked the base with his foot.

Cardinals officials say the x-rays were negative.

Holliday was replaced by Allen Craig.
