Holliday extends hitting streak to 15 games

MILWAUKEE (BaseballStL) – Matt Holliday extended his hit streak to a season and team high 15 games with a single in the eighth inning on Monday.

The hit streak has now matched the NL’s best this season set by the Pirates’ Neil Walker.

Holliday is 23-for-59 (.390) during the hit streak and has raised his batting average from .215 to .317 since May 1.
