ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – It was not a productive week at the plate for Rafael Furcal, who was only 2-for-32 during the recent homestand, but he dominated the ballots for the All-Star Game.

Furcal leads Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki by more than 94,000 votes after trailing by a little more than 17,000 votes last week.  Tulowitzki recently re-aggravated a groin injury that landed him on the DL on May 31.

Catcher Yadier Molina and outfielder Carlos Beltran remain in second place in voting for their respective positions.

The 83rd All-Star Game will played in Kansas City on July 10.
