ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – Allen Craig was unable to get a hit against the Astros on Tuesday which snapped a ten-game hit streak.

This season has been nothing short of remarkable for Craig, who missed the first month of the season due to having surgery on his knee during the offseason.  He is batting .305 with 21 home runs and 82 runs batted in through 106 games this season.

Craig entered Tuesday’s game with three multi-hit games in four previous starts.  His .404 (44-for-109) average with runners in scoring position is the best in Major League Baseball.
