(KMOV)-Come on, seven games for Johnny Cueto? This guy intentionally tried to injure Jason Larue by kicking him in the face with his cleats, and only gets a seven game suspension? Larue has a mild concussion and is currently out of action. Cueto might only miss one of his scheduled starts. This is the kind of suspension MLB hands down to try to show they are absolutely "serious" about cracking down on fighting, when in reality they're careful not to suspend an important player too severly so that the pennant races aren't adversely affected. A player like Cueto who injures another player, should not be able to play again until the injured player is also back.

La Russa and Baker didn't throw any punches, why are they suspended at all? The managers will serve their suspensions sitting in their offices watching the games on tv, and sending messages to the dugout about what they want done. Those suspensions are strickly cosmetic.
