(BaseballStL)--The Cardinals are making final preparations for the start of Grapefruit League play which kicks off Monday against the Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium.

Taking a look at manager Mike Matheny's schedule, Adam Wainwright will throw a live bullpen session Field 3 at 10:45 eastern time.  He'll face a group featuring Rafael Furcal, Tyler Greene, Daniel Descalso, Alex Cora and Koyie Hill.  Matheny announced on Saturday that Wainwright will make his first start of spring (and thus his first start since 2010) on Friday.  Kyle Lohse gets the ball tomorrow, Jake Westbrook goes Tuesday, Shelby Miller makes his first ever big league spring training start on Wednesday, Jaime Garcia is Thursday with Waino after that.

For the position players, there is an intra-squad game taking place on Field 1 at noon eastern.  These typically are pretty serious games with a hint of fun and joking in them.  For instance, a couple years ago when Dennis Martinez was pitching...he started throwing breaking balls to the guys when it's supposed to be coaches essentially throwing BP.  What's on the line for this game?  We'll find out later.
