(CBS News) Wednesday is long known as “hump day,” the middle of the normal work week. But now, “hump day” could be forever linked to a wildly popular commercial by the insurance company Geico. In fact, it may end up being the most-watched commercial of the year as it already has more than 13 million views on YouTube.
The commercial’s popularity was recently engrained even more when members of the St. Louis Cardinals decided to give their own take on the ad.
In the commercial, Cardinals relief pitcher John Axford can been seen walking around through the clubhouse in a camel suit he bought. The camel also walks onto the field and stopped by the door of manager Mike Matheny’s office and tease him with a “Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike” line.
