(BaseballStL) -- The St. Louis Cardinals are going to need their bench players with only four off days remaining on the schedule, Mike Matheny said after Wednesday’s 11-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

One day later, those words were put into action for the series finale, and the chance to sweep, against Philadelphia.

Shane Robinson, who finished 3-for-5 with three RBI on Wednesday, got the nod to start again in place of Carlos Beltran, who collected only two hits in 16 at-bats this home stand.

With Matt Holliday out of the lineup again, Matt Adams started his ninth consecutive game at first base and batted cleanup for the first time this season. Allen Craig filled in at the left field position and batted third.

Here was the starting lineup:

Matt Carpenter - 2B
Jon Jay - CF
Allen Craig - LF
Yadier Molina - C
David Freese - 3B
Shane Robinson - RF
Pete Kozma - SS
Lance Lynn - P
